The Bahá’í community of Kendal, with their friends and neighbours, are working together to contribute to the spiritual and material progress of our society.
South Lakeland Interfaith Forum is set up by local residents who wish to exchange dialogue through faith and build bridges across communities. Perhaps in this increasingly diverse world we live in followers of all faiths and none can share inspiration and learn from one another.
The SLEDP is made up from members from the public, private and third sectors aiming to:

At Kendal Unity Festival we will be:
The SVP stall will be one with plenty of information about its work for those in need with an emphasis on what we do locally and Social Justice.
Our Mini Vinnies group of Dean Gibson children will be offering activities from mid morning to mid afternoon. These will include Guess the Name of the Teddy Bear and games on Equality and Diversity themes.
