AWAZ is leading on bringing the Kendal Unity Festival to life. They have been working in partnership with local organisations and groups in Kendal for many years. Building on their proven success of the similar Unity Festivals in Carlisle in 2016 and 2017 they are delighted to bring the positive model.
Recognising the community resilience and unity demonstrated in Kendal and the surrounding areas following the December 2015 floods, the South Lakeland Equality and Diversity Partnership entrusted Cumbria to lead in organising Kendal Unity Festival
