Not singing?  Want to?  Do!  Growing Singing is a tiny business in Kendal where the point is to get more people singing - not to perform, not because we're good at it, not for any other reason than that it's so good for us to sing. We run a couple of singing groups but also promote ALL the singing opportunities in Kendal and around.

Year 5 and 6 Poetry Competition - Being Me 

A celebration of uniqueness, individuality and diversity

By providing pop up Repair Cafe's and skills courses in mending and upcycling we hope to reduce waste and improve mental health in the local community.

1. It's fun, free and for all the family.  (Actually that's three reasons already)
2. It's a chance to learn something new.
3. You can visit an exhibition and pick up a whole host of information.
4. It's a chance to experience a different culture right here in Kendal.
5. You can listen to musicians.

Unity Festival is designed to help build community cohesion and foster good relations by tackling prejudice, promoting mutual understanding and celebrating the diversity of people and cultures in Kendal.  Encouraging people to get involved in a wide range of activities that help to breakdown barriers and create unity.
