CliMART is a climate focused project being facilitated by Lakeland Arts (Abbot Hall Art Gallery, Blackwell Arts & Crafts House and Windermere Jetty Boat Museum) www.lakelandarts.org.uk
This project aims to be young person led and is responding to the passionate voices of children and young people attending the Future Friday protests in Kendal at the Birdcage. At Unity Festival Lakeland Arts will be delivering some craft-based activities to support raising awareness about issues affecting climate, these will include:
- A block printed zine workshop
- A stitch embellishment on a collaborative banner
- Stitched eco badges
